Terrific Value for this Quaint and Friendly Hotel

It does not take long traveling in SE Asia to discover that all beds are not created equal. Also, hotel price does not always mean more comfort. After a hot day of pounding the museums, streets and markets a good bed is a big deal, at least for us. Our lovely room -703- was immaculate, fairly spacious and above all, the bed was very comfy with soft linens. Had great views of the city and market, but was quiet at night. Sweet staff. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Easy to walk to all of the main sites from this hotel. Be advised that the main market is, other than the produce and meat front section, a tourist market. Bargain hard if you buy coffee and clothing. Food stalls there--cheap but just average. At night many better food options outside the market when the food vendors set up just a few meters from this great little hotel.
A caveat: if you are in any way disabled or short, like me, be advised that this hotel has tub bath/shower and it is a big leap to get in and out of with no grab bars. Not sure if they offer walk in shower but would be worth asking.

A Real Gem!

Stayed in an Executive Room for 4 nights. Room was spacious enough and had all the amenities you need. Housekeeping is excellent and while choices for breakfast is limited, they are quite delicious. Service is also very good, always greeted with a smile when returning to the hotel. Very good location too, within walking distance to most major attractions and shopping areas. As it is located along the road in an extremely busy area, you do get some noise (eg. Traffic). Overall, a real gem of a hotel for the price. Highly recommended.
