War Remnants Museum

Previously known as the Exhibition House of American War Crimes, and currently housed in a series of eight themed rooms in several buildings, the museum is a stark reminder of the cruelty during the American phase of the Vietnam War. It features military equipment located within a walled yard and halls filled with graphic photographs, a real guillotine, a simulated “tiger cage” prison and jars of deformed fetuses blamed on Agent Orange and other chemical agents. The museum is essentially a propaganda for the Vietnamese Communist regime, since almost all of the exhibits are highly critical of the American and South Vietnamese efforts during the Vietnam War, while disregarding those that are critical of the Viet Cong’s atrocities

Entrance fee is 10000 dong and the museum is daily 07:30-11:45, 13:30-17:30.
